MEDICAL MANAGEMENT

Important Notice: ACI is unable to provide services to individuals who cannot self-administer their medications. This includes tasks such as administering injections.

While ACI does not have a registered nurse on staff, we offer a variety of medical management services to meet the needs of our consumers:
Doctor’s Appointments

At the request of the guardian, ACI can manage and schedule regular doctor’s appointments, including physicals.

Preventative Care

We encourage preventative services and will assist with transportation to and from doctor’s appointments. Please note that limitations may apply.

Medication Management

ACI staff can refill and pick up medications from the pharmacy and provide reminders to consumers about taking their medicine.

Appointment Reminders

We can remind consumers and their families about upcoming doctor’s appointments.
