Thank you for your interest in volunteering with the Arkansas Center for Independence (ACI) and supporting our mission to empower adults with developmental disabilities. Your time and dedication can make a meaningful difference in our community, and we deeply value the positive impact our volunteers create in the lives of those we serve.

We offer a variety of ways for you to get involved, including:

Hosting an art projects class

Teach a singing and music class

Assist in classroom instruction & events

Plant a flower bed or garden at one of our group homes

Assisting with field trips and group outings

Having story time and reading a book

Participating in fundraisers & local ACI events

Assisting in housing and building repairs

Being active with outdoor physical activities and games
